This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit yatringo.com or use our services. By accessing or using YatrinGo, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Registration Data: Name, email address, mobile number, and password when you create an account.
• Agency Profile: Agency name, business address, GST number, years in business, service types, and profile photos (for travel agencies).
• Traveller Preferences: City, travel preferences, and travel interests.
• Communications: Messages, inquiries, reviews, and feedback submitted through the Platform.
• Payment Information: Billing details processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store your card details.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Location Data: Approximate location from your IP address to show relevant local travel agents.
• Usage Data: Features used, searches made, agencies viewed, and Platform interactions.

C. Information from Third Parties

• Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture.

• Account Management: Create and manage your account, authenticate identity, provide support.
• Platform Services: Display agency listings, process inquiries, facilitate traveller-agency connections.
• Verification: Verify travel agency credentials and issue verification badges.
• Payments: Process subscription payments and manage refunds via Razorpay.
• Communications: Send OTPs, booking confirmations, service updates, and (with consent) promotions.
• Safety & Security: Detect, prevent, and address fraud and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Analytics & Improvement: Understand Platform usage and improve our services.
• Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws and government requests.

• Between Users: When a traveller contacts an agency, their name, mobile, and message are shared with that agency. Agency profiles are publicly visible.
• Service Providers: Trusted vendors including Razorpay (payments), cloud hosting providers, and email service providers.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business Transfers: In case of merger or acquisition, with prior notice to users.
• With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent.

• Encryption: All data transmitted is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Password Hashing: Passwords are hashed using BCrypt — we never store plain-text passwords.
• JWT Authentication: Secure tokens for session management with appropriate expiry.
• Access Controls: Access to personal data restricted to authorised personnel only.
• Payment Security: Payment data processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant).

Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Use strong passwords and never share your credentials.

YatrinGo is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

YatrinGo may contain links to third-party websites. These sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices. We use:

• Razorpay — Payment processing
• Google Maps / Places API — Location services
• WhatsApp — Direct messaging with agents
• ipapi.co — IP-based city detection

We may update this policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the date above, notify registered users via email, and display a notice on the Platform.

Continued use of YatrinGo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
